Silvano Bozzolini

Silvano Bozzolini (1911-1998)

Silvano Bozzolini was born in Fiesole (Italy) in 1911. Bozzolini studied at the academy in Florence and later at the Academie des Beaux Arts in Paris.

 

First abstraction in 1947. Bozzolini had contacts with various other artists in Paris who created compositions with geometric abstract forms. He was on friendly terms with Alberto Magnelli. Silvano Bozzolini died in Paris (1998).

 

Silvano Bozzolini's work is nowadays displayed in major international museums including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the'Museo dArte Gravdos' (Madrid), the 'Musée Georges Pompidou' (Paris), Galeria dArte Moderna (Florence)  and the 'Museo dArte Moderna' (Sao Paulo).
