Born in Brussels (1885) where he also died (1944). He was a talented artist who only produced a dozen works or so.
Initially, from 1914 to 1919, in the fauvism style. Subsequently works with a refined and poetically–charged atmosphere bearing a (close) resemblance to the abstract school and surrealism.
Was interested in the philosophy of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietsche and Søren Aabye Kierkegaard.
Member of the "Groupe des XV " in Paris.
